In brief
Irori assisted in establishing a modern, cloud-native observability platform for cloud operations to ensure application stability and rapid problem mitigation. Functioning as a greenfield opportunity, the project modernizes operational habits by replacing manual monitoring setups with automated native cloud capabilities. By standardizing the alerting platform through infrastructure as code (IaC), the solution enables decentralized application teams to deploy their own monitoring configurations independently.
Challenge
The organization already maintained a mature, highly successful, and well-stabilized monitoring environment for their on-premises applications. However, as new applications began migrating to the cloud, these dynamic environments needed a structured observability platform to match that high standard. From a business perspective, there was a need for increased operational speed for cloud deployments. To maintain high application stability and scale efficiently, the organization needed a cloud-native observability platform that could automate these processes.
Solution
To resolve this, an automated alerting framework was built as the foundation of the cloud observability platform, directing log and metric alerts straight into native cloud analytics. The platform also integrates with the organization’s broader governance and compliance processes, ensuring that critical alerts are appropriately escalated and tracked. Instead of managing individual alert configurations manually, the core observability infrastructure was packaged into reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules.
