A Swedish company focused on helping the healthcare-sector with digitization required a study of its IT operations to assess the current state, identify key capabilities, and highlight crucial gaps in its external IT operations and service agreements. Given the time-sensitive nature of the project, the study needed to be completed within the project timeline.
The clients IT operations encompass a mix of Linux-based container solutions (Kubernetes with microservices) and traditional Windows solutions supported by VMware virtualization platforms. The challenge was to provide a structured analysis of the current IT infrastructure and network topology while identifying risks, gaps, and required capabilities for future improvements.
Solution
To address this challenge, Irori was engaged as a partner to provide expertise in IT infrastructure and operations architecture. The engagement involved conducting a detailed review of Client’s existing IT operations, including an analysis of the IT infrastructure, network topology, and service agreements. A GAP analysis was carried out to identify technical and competence gaps, risks, and the capabilities needed to enhance the operational environment. Based on these insights, a transformation roadmap was defined to guide the organization toward an optimized future state aligned with its long-term IT strategy. Additionally, Irori assisted in drafting requirements and specifications for a new IT operations procurement process.
