Irori Launches Kafka Academy

End-to-End Kafka Training for Swedish Public Sector

Irori has launched Kafka Academy, a structured upskilling program built on real-world enterprise Kafka experience and designed specifically for Swedish public sector organizations navigating event-driven architecture.

“Swedish public sector organizations are under real pressure to build event-driven capability in-house, not just buy it. Kafka Academy is how we help them do that on their own terms, with training built for their reality”

The program covers the full Kafka lifecycle across six connected modules, from fundamentals through production operations: Kafka Basics, Integrating with Kafka, Stream Processing, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka Platform Implementation, and Operations & Governance. Each module pairs theory with guided hands-on labs in a shared GitHub repository, so teams build practical skills progressively rather than sitting through disconnected lectures.

What sets Kafka Academy apart is its grounding in Swedish public sector reality. Implementation examples are adapted for government agencies, covering GDPR requirements and long-term operational ownership, not generic enterprise use cases. The program also runs below the Swedish direct procurement threshold, simplifying purchasing for public sector buyers.

Organizations can run all six modules or pick the ones relevant to their team. A built-in role guide maps which modules matter most for developers, system architects, platform leads, IT strategists, and data engineers, so teams don’t waste time on content outside their remit.

Delivery is flexible: onsite, remote, or hybrid, with either a hosted secure environment or bring-your-own-device, for up to 30 participants per cohort.

Interested organizations can book an introductory meeting to discuss scope, get a training schedule proposal, and prepare their environment ahead of kickoff.
