Frequently Asked Questions
What is upskilling at Irori?
Irori’s upskilling programs are practical training initiatives designed to help organizations build stronger internal capabilities. The programs are based on Irori’s experience of building, operating and modernizing real digital platforms, rather than generic classroom theory.
What upskilling programs does Irori offer?
Irori currently offers two main upskilling programs: Kafka Academy and Cyber Challenge. Kafka Academy focuses on Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, platform implementation, operations and governance. Cyber Challenge focuses on strengthening cybersecurity awareness and security culture through practical, collaborative exercises.
Who are the programs designed for?
The programs can be adapted for both technical and non-technical participants. Depending on the subject, relevant roles may include developers, architects, platform teams, operations teams, security professionals, IT strategists, decision-makers and business stakeholders.
How practical are the training programs?
Irori’s programs are designed around learning by doing. Participants work with guided labs, realistic scenarios, shared exercises and practical challenges. The aim is to develop knowledge that participants can apply in their own organization, rather than simply completing a theoretical course.
Can the training be adapted to our organization?
Yes. The format, content and level can be adapted to your organization’s existing knowledge, technical environment, objectives and participant roles. Individual modules, customized case studies and follow-up workshops may also be included depending on your needs.
Can the programs be delivered remotely or onsite?
Yes. Training can be delivered onsite, remotely or in a hybrid format. For Kafka Academy, Irori can provide a hosted and secure learning environment, or participants can use their own approved devices and environments.
Do we need to complete the entire Kafka Academy?
No. Kafka Academy consists of six connected modules covering Kafka fundamentals, integration, stream processing, event-driven architecture, platform implementation, and operations and governance. Organizations can complete the entire program or select the modules that are most relevant to their teams.
What is the long-term goal of the training?
The goal is not only to transfer knowledge during the training sessions. Irori helps organizations develop shared understanding, practical confidence and the internal ability to make informed decisions, operate their platforms and continue developing independently after the program.
